Genesis of the Tuto project 💜
It all started in 2005. Nicolas, his little sister Gaëlle, and two other geeks launched a publishing house specializing in video courses: Emob. Four years later, realizing the limitations and disadvantages of the publishing model, they had the idea to create the first marketplace for video courses.
Objectives: To offer trainers a more equitable remuneration, give them the freedom of choice, format, and topics covered, as well as the publication rhythm. All based on a strict selection of the courses offered. Thus, Weecast was born in 2009, which would be renamed Tuto.com a year later.
We are based in Toulon, in the southeast of France, a place where life is good ☀️
We advocate a balance between personal and professional life, convinced for a long time that this balance is essential to the success of our collective adventure. Remote work and a four-day workweek have been a reality for us since 2015 (already!). The well-being at work that we practice is part of the same approach as the attention we pay to our users (learners and trainers).
Reasoned growth, a project without investors (Sorry to disappoint you, but we are not a unicorn 🦄), development through self-financing: So many elements that constitute our DNA and guarantee total freedom in our choices, in alignment with our values.
