This is the second video tutorial from a series that will establish the Project Fuze. The idea of Fuze is to show you all my CG workflow from modeling to final render making this Gun model from Johnson Ting Neo Japan Universe.

It will be split into 5 parts. This one is about HardSurface Modeling in Maya.

I'll explain you my process and the tools I use, showing the entire modeling of the Gun model with about 16 hours of video which represents 32 hours of modeling work! I also share some scripts and tricks for making hole, cables...

I advise you to start by Fuze01 in which I explain all the base of my tool set. This will help you to better understand my philosophy about modeling, especially for HardSurface stuffs.

This Tuto is recommended for a beginner/intermediate level in Maya. Here I work with Maya 2014 and 2015, but this can be reproduced in any Maya version and in any other 3D software with similar modeling tools.
